¡Hola! Bienvenidos a la 3ra edición del Hola México Film Festival en Los Ángeles. Nuestro festival se enorgullece en ser el festival de cine Mexicano de la ciudad de Los Ángeles; hoy en día una ciudad que vibra con colores Mexicanos. México siempre ha sido un país de contrastes, una tierra donde lo increíble sucede a diario; en donde tenemos los espacios más bellos, pero grandes problemas sin resolver. Hoy por hoy; MÉXICO ESTA DE PELÍCULA y te invitamos a verlo en el Hola Mexico Film Festival. Mediante sus documentales, comedias y grandes dramas, el festival pinta una realidad vista desde los ojos de los creadores de estas películas.
Este 2011 el festival ha hecho grandes cambios para poder darte una mejor experiencia. Nuestro nuevo espacio, el Teatro Montalbán será convertido en un Templo Del Cine Mexicano, donde la experiencia del festival va mas allá de nuestras películas, dando la oportunidad de probar Tequila, tomarte una cerveza y unos bocadillos Mexicanos. El festival ha seleccionado 12 de las mejores y más divertidas películas de los últimos tiempos en México. La industria del cine ha avanzado a pasos agigantados en los últimos años y el Hola México Film Festival es un espacio para conocer estos logros.
El festival invita a sus grandes directores y actores a presentar sus películas para después platicar con el público y saludar a los asistentes. Por primera vez, estamos regalando 200 tickets por cada función de cine a diferentes organizaciones sin fines de lucro. Al igual que nosotros, están interesadas en apoyar a la comunidad Mexicana en Los Ángeles. Nuestros patrocinadores, son los responsables de que este evento sea una realidad. Hi! Welcome to the 3rd annual Hola Mexico Film Festival in Los Angeles. Our festival is proud to be the Mexican film festival of Los Angeles, the beautiful city which vibrates with Mexican colors. Mexico has always been a country of contrasts, a land where the incredible happens every day. We have in Mexico the most gorgeous spaces, but many unresolved problems. Nowadays, MEXICO IS A PLACE LIKE THE MOVIES and we invite you to see it at the Hola Mexico Film Festival through its documentaries, comedies and grand dramas. The festival paints a reality seen through the eyes of our film directors.
This 2011, the festival has made great changes to give you a better experience. Our new venue, the Montalban Theatre will become the Temple of Mexican Cinema, where your experience will go beyond the movies and into the land of Tequila, Beer, and Mexican food. Our festival handpicked 12 of the finest Mexican films produced in recent months. The Mexican film industry has grown on huge steps in recent years and the Hola Mexico Film Festival is a space to showcase such advancements.
The festival invites the films’ directors and actors to present their films and have Q & A’s after the screenings. For the first time, we have given away 200 tickets to nonprofit organizations that are dedicated to supporting the Mexican community in Los Angeles. By working closely with these wonderful organizations, we hope to provide exposure to Mexican cinema to new audiences and enriching our community through film. Our sponsors are the ones that make this festival a reality. Weare grateful for their continuous support.
